Basically the King of Thailand wants to prosecute Facebook for posting a video of him wearing a crop top? How silly is he? If he expects to walk around wearing a crop top it's going to come with videos being leaked...


"Under strict lese-majeste laws in Thailand, people can be jailed for up to 15 years for sharing material which is insulting to the monarchy." - Why is there a rule for this? Does it matter what other people think? What you think about yourself is what matters... no need to be triggered my friend Thailand King...

Eastern culture is different than Western it might sound silly to you, but I can understand why he reacts like this. In eastern culture honor and reputation is valued greatly, almost as high as wealth. That's why doctors and high level jobs are highly encourage within Asian families. It's partly due to the money but mainly due to the reputation and prestige of the title. But yeah, eastern culture is still a bit outdated imo.

Like any overly centralized government that controls its people through any and all means. Nothing new. Don't think his lawsuit will do anything, but FB in thailand may be a thing of the past....or at least until the next king.
