Chinese "Island" With Military CapabilitiesSince the last election, there has been much talk of US President Trump and his position on China. Originally brash and very negative of the Chinese dominance of Asian markets, Trump has alienated long standing allies with remarks of reparations. In a day in age where the North Koreans will jump at any opportunity to increase their leverage, Trump calls for stricter budgeting on providing our Asian allies with United States resources. This includes a halt and demand of payment for the strategic missile systems for defense in South Korea. Following this, Trump has increased tensions with the Hermit Kingdom by responding to their baseless, and annual claims of "nuclear holocaust," once the North Koreans actually learn how to build a fucking working missile.
Despite Trumps previous claims of clamping down on Chinese dominance, he backtracks when the Chinese create pressure by building fortresses and airfields atop islands in the South China Sea. Trump has so far suspended patrols around there, and leaves them uncontested, creating worried minds of those within the Chinese sphere of influence.
