I like paint, and use it for quick edits / screen shots and stuff like that, it doesn't eat up a lot of resources and doesn't have many features, so it opens quickly.
But I guess I'll just have to use one of the many other much better applications. Still, sad to see it go! (though it'll still be around, just not updated).
But the real implications are, what will happen to the memes? How can we have memes without a crappy image editor? How will old memes somehow look older without a lossfull image editor? Are grainy memes finally going away?
We shall see in the coming meme wars.
