Hi everyone! Recently a few members have taken up playing Warcraft III custom games again. Since we need some more players to make the experience even better I'm provide a guide for anyone to come play with us.

Above is a link I have provided to download the game. Run a virus scan if you want but I have already done so and I use the same files you are going to be using too

Once the file has been downloaded and it has been ran it should look like this

Just extract the files to the location of your choosing. The 7-Zip extractor should automatically close when the extraction process is over

Inside the destination you chose to extract the files to it should look like this

You can choose to start the game using either these three batch files (If you choose to use this method you should start the game using the START FROZEN THRONE batch file

Or

You can open the game using the direct .exe's used in those batch files to start and run the game(Method I use) by clicking on gamefiles

and using the Frozen Throne.exe

That's all you need if you want to play the single player of the game but to play with other members of the community follow the next steps

Using the link above you are going to download a program called GameRanger. GameRanger is an application used to play many games old and new. It basically runs a virtual LAN over the internet and allows users using the application to play online.

The link has a guide on how setup the program. I will include a quick guide for people who have finished installing and setting up an account for GameRanger

Once you have logged in and setup the program you should be greeted with a screen like this

Click on Edit then Options

Then locate Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and set the location for the Frozen Throne.exe file and you should have GameRanger setup for Warcraft III!

To host a game click on File and then Host Game

Then set the game you would like to host, change the max players, description to something your friends can search for, and set a password and hit OK

Joining a game is very simple. Just search the description your friend put for the game he/she has hosted join their game!
