I should add that a router can hinder download speeds such as that linksys (54 MB per second) one so if you're planning to use wifi for your desktop you may want a better router that can match what your speeds are.
If you are plugged into your modem with your desktop then the router won't matter. It'll only matter for devices using that WiFi.
This is another router that looks good for how much it is it goes up to 450 MB per second and is cheaper. (though is missing some features that other routers will have)
Or if you're willing to go a bit more than $40 (as long as you have prime) the
AC1200 is just an upgraded version of the one I just linked.
I'll also edit this if I may find any other routers.
