The new season cannot come around quick enough for me. Match of the Day every Saturday, going the pub for the proper tasty clashes, sticking the bets on and doing the Super 6, thinking I actually know something about the beautiful game...

The season starts on the 10th August, a Friday, with Manchester United vs Leicester, then proper on the 11th August with six 3:00pm kick-offs. Wolves vs Everton is the Saturday Night Football, bit of a drab one that tbf. Liverpool vs West Ham, Southampton vs Burnley and Arsenal vs Man City (!) are the three Super Sunday fixtures on the 12th August. You can catch the football on Fox Sports and NBC in the US, right? I watched a game last year on a US feed and was proper impressed by the analysis. Pretty happy that you guys get quality coverage.

Some big transfers I think didn't follow it all to close.

I support Chelsea in the EPL. Just there I use to love Lampard so that is why I chose them. It will be interesting to see how they get on this season, after a pretty appalling season and with some drama going on the and with roomers running wild that Hazard will go to Real Madrid(my all time fav club).

I think if this season we can get a 4-5 horse race for the title I would love it. Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea, Tottenham and I would love to see and a competitive Arsenal again.
Vivre la vie!

As I expected. Not a lot of players were available when the window opened and so teams are fighting to keep what they have. An example would be Eden Hazard. Chelsea can sell him for £150 million to £200 million but he's too important to sell, who do you even sign to replace him, and how much is a player of that quality going to cost?

Also, Premier League teams have more money now than ever before, all of them can afford to give unhappy players big new contracts to persuade them to stay where they are. Watford's Abdoulaye Doucoure is on approx £80,000 per week and Leicester are going to put down a reported £85,000 per week on Harry Maguire. Money like this from clubs like those was unheard of as recent as five years ago.

They're the favourites in my opinion, I think it's between them and Man City for the title.

I’m not too fussed in regards to football however Newcastle is which the team I support better not fuck up this season and get relegated.

Sources say that if Rafa Benitez (Manager of Newcastle United) doesn't get some good transfers in the transfer window he will be contemplating about leaving. Which if he leaves, I'd think they'd struggle to find a new Club Manager.

I don't blame him, it's an awfully mismanaged club. I feel very sorry for their fans, they're a passionate lot who put down some serious cash filling that stadium every week, they deserve so much better.

I don't know what the odds were at the start of the season but Jose Mourinho has to be a lock for the first manager to depart his club this season. Man United look a mess, Midfielder playing at Centre Back when he has Centre Backs he's bought on the bench. Only a matter of time before he departs.
