So many of you know the certain situation that has been going down in my life these past couple of months and have understood why my attitude/mood has been kinda off recently.

That is because 'm moving away from my home that I have lived at for 12 years of my life. Those years that I know very well and hold dear to me. I was at another home in PA until I was 8, but I don't remember those years very well.

The story goes like this:

My father is a pastor and with that, he can get calls to go to other places if the district wants him to. My dad has been preaching at the current church hes at for 12 years and has gotten $46,000 a year salary from the church. Now my dad is a really good pastor in my eyes, so he for sure deserves more since his colleagues earn way more than him. He got a job offer in Morongo, California to preach at their church on an Indian Reservation. They said they would start him out at $56,000 a year for his first year, and keep going up after so long that he is there.

Now, I'm happy that my dad got this call, because my family would be able to sustain themselves a little bit better. However, that has placed a huge burden on my shoulders. Which has been affecting my mood and what not. More recently then ever. Sunday i go back to college, and it reminds me that tomorrow will be the last day I live in the house Ive grown up in for 12 years. I'm guessing you guys could imagine what that does to a person.

I have options though. I could stay at the college I am at in PA and continue my education with the friends I care a lot about, or go out to California and transfer my college credits to UCLA, surrounding myself with new faces. Ive been feeling super conflicted recently, and it sucks that i have to think about this and go to college at the same time. Its like getting the news that your dog died during finals week. Just a lot to handle. I cant tell any of my IRL friends because the church cant know in any way until my dad makes the announcement, so ive been dealing with this on my own.

I apologize if i have been a dick recently, or have joked around a little bit harshly lately. Just trying to do everything in my power to push the thought aside. I just don't know what to do, and i haven't really talked much about it, so its bottled up. I don't mean to sound like such a cry baby or whatever, but it sucks a lot.

So if I don't seem like myself and you are worried, don't be. Ill be fine, just got all this shit going on. If you wanna know more, just shoot me a message. Id love to explain everything about it. So yeah, if I'm inactive, bummed, jerkish, or anything, dont worry. Its all good in the hood.

Speaking as someone who switched high schools, switched universities (twice, total of 3 different colleges), and studies 24 hours away from my family, Do'nt switch unless you really have to. You will get used to being a little far, it will be hard at first. But you will learn how to be independent. I did move out (spend more time NOT living in my own home) technicly in 9th grade. In summers I would work, so many times I would not even sleep at home then.
You just need some time, and before you know it, you would have become a man.
Note:
Buy plane tickets to visit early, Jetblue tends to be cheaper, however look at flying to small local airports, and small local airlines should be cheaper.
Amtrack is normally about the same price, IMO alot better, but longer.
