EgN Admin School Idea

So many people have passed around the idea of an Admin School for the newer admins here on EgN. I personally thought this was such a great idea, that I'd go ahead and create a curriculum for the rank of admin. So here I am, as serious as I can be. I would like to run a little crash course on how to properly use your admin and what exactly you need to do in a sticky situation.

This crash course will involve:
1. Rules of the Servers
2. Commands you can use/cant
3. How to properly take action.
4. How to make ban reports correctly.
5. How to record evidence

I want to shed some light on the people who don't really know whats going on/have been messing up.

Upon getting approved, I would like the first meeting to have all EgN Admins present to get a refresher on the topic. That meeting would be mandatory for admins, or else they would loose their admin. I want to weed out the people who want to keep their admin, from those who are rather inactive or don't want it anymore.

This meeting would happen around the same time the Monthly Meeting for January is. I also plan on using this admin school as a secondary punishment for abusing admins. So they would get a week of no admin and have to attend the class at the end of the month to get it back.

I personally think its time to put this plan into action and I will work super hard on this idea for the community, all I am asking for is a chance to prove my idea will help. So if you could please take this into consideration, id appreciate that.

What probably isn't so obvious are they number if people who have lost admin for breaking the rules (it's much easier to loose admin now that it was then). If an an admin is doing something wrong, the will,loose the privalage. Simple.

But... I'm always open to feedback. Maybe we could run the school in a volenatry manner?

Nah, mandatory and instead of a g1 test, make it a g2 road test where they get admin for an hour with the teacher and he helps them deal with real situations. Have like 3 of these and on the last one the teacher stays quiet and judges how they handle situations

If they dont pass they dont get admin and the teacher passes the reasons they failed onto higher ups if they decide to appeal the decision.

If you want, the teacher could also go over:

5. How to record evidence

But nobody really has a problem with those aside from number 3 which would be the focus of the bette-- i mean, "my" idea

$6k per credit, class is 3 credits. But there is a required lab portion which is another 2 credits plus an aditional $600 lab fee. Textbooks were written by the instructor for the class so you cannot find a pdf online and need to buy it from the school, at only $350 per part, with a total of 5 parts. Also dont buy the last edition because it is out of date, because we changed the cover photo. evreything else is the same, but out of date.

I'm not really fond of the whole admin school idea, I believe people can learn from trial and error.

*--When they get admin for the first time they're giving all the information they need to use admin but what they don't have is hands on experience. What they have is "When i was player i did this experience" cause EgN has a lot of fake rules.--*

One of the #1 rule is "This or that is implied"
