So, I've been driving a bike for about 6 months now. And as much as I love and enjoy driving my little moped. I'm wanting to get a 125cc. I'm currently driving a Peugot Vivacity but as soon as I'm 17, I'm getting a 125 actual bike, instead of this hair dryer on wheels. I've had a look around, and one bike I've seen has caught my eye. I'm looking at getting a Yamaha YZF-R125. (Website with all bike specs and what it looks like here.) I'm just wondering what ya'll opinions are, and if you've got any suggestions as I know some of you out there have bikes also. |

Peds are gay af lmao, for a 125 a YZF is a decent bike to start out on :) You'll actually get a few nods here and there from actual bikers, and you'll probably notice that you feel more apart of being a biker than you did on a hair dryer

fuck off nalin Vespa's are for girls, he wants a real bike not a Scooter lmao I drove around some Honda scooter for a job, and all the bikers loved it. Had my pink helmet and saftey flag on. Rocking that shit. But I prefer trail riding over road riding, too many shitty drivers. I like life. and yea, scooters are hilariously lame, and still just as dangerous. Worst of both worlds. |

The only reason i got a moped, was purely so i could get used to biking before i got an actual bike. It also means my insurance will be cheaper  What bike have you got Mecr? |

Had a CBR 600 before some pikeys stole it got caught, and let go because crystal clear CCTV wasn't good enough lmao, and moped and a geared bike is a lot different than twist and go lmao *Update* I have let go of my throttle too soon in first gear and flipped it - Majestic 2016 ayy lmao |

The moped I've got is twist and go, so learning gears should be fun.... There's no doubt I'll come off the 125, I've come off my moped twice already so, with all the extra power and gears, it's near certain I'll come off the 125. Or stall it or some shit.
