Do you mean ban reports should only be accessible for admins?
You know, posts put in the Elite,Veteran board sections are also put on the "new posts" for the rank and all the above..
Yeah, I see your point, but how often does someone put something in there? While it may be a shitpost, it's also a post that they can comment on and have a conversation with. They see a ban report that has nothing to do with them, and filter their way through for the "good stuff."

There's been a few times alot of new posts (admin apps for example) were made that resulted in my New Posts being only 15ish links. Some forum only members have noticed this too when we had those people leave for EmD or where ever and they didn't have access to LOA sections. So doing this would only move "clutter" for you. Would result in us not being able to see other peoples ban reports, which I think would have negative consequences.
It would be nice to have ban reports excluded from the new posts list, however, its a "nice to have" and I'd rather someone spend time on other things such as some of the mods on JB. (though I shouldn't complain about that as Twice Doldol tried to get me involved with mod development only for me to do nothing productive.)
Yes, but there are also people who have no interest in admin things. For example, me. I don't usually go on our servers. I may get shit for that, but it doesn't necessarily matter to me if someone comes in and MFKs, I don't need to read that on the forums. I certainly don't need to read that if 7 people do that straight.

How hard is it to just scroll down the board and open the three or four sections that actually get posts in a new tab?
That's not the point. If we really wanted to do that, the new posts button wouldn't exist in the first place. It's there for ease of access.
(inb4 ban reports are there for ease of access as well) Not everyone wants to look at ban reports. They look for the posts they can participate in, or just want something to look at that isn't just the "same old mfk" post.
BONUS IDEA if people aren't lazy and want to figure out the code to do it
Make new posts section customizable. That's going to be FAR harder, probably.
