I've been away for a bit and come back to find out she has been demoted. Don't get me wrong i'm certainly not going to shed a tear. Regardless of my well established opinion on the matter, my question is why? Despite if you loved or hated her she was a high ranked member of this community who devoted a good part of a year and put in a lot of time and effort (good or bad, her motives were atleast good in theory.) There seems to be no mention of the demotion or reason on the forums, only a "stepping down" which she was obviously forced into. I've been asking people for answers, no one seems to know one why due to the lack of information. I had a easier time finding out about the recent mass LOA a week before it happened then about this demotion.

In this thread here, she clearly states she is being demoted which is confirmed by advisers. However, reasons are not given.

Does it matter? The reason was about her not about you.
They have decided to not share that information and they don't have to.

She also wasn't forced into stepping down, she decided to step down before they had announced the demotion publicly.

1) Everyone elses demotions get listed pubically.
2) She was a high ranked member of this community who contributed a lot.
3) She was respected by a segment of this community about 8 of whom listed her as a contributing reason for their LOAs before quitting.

I think that warrants an announcement with a brief reason.

Her demotion got listed btw.

Also She had life stuff probably, you know, like most higher ups are having nowadays.

Buut if the actual raisin isn't listed, I wouldn't bother pursuing it any further.

If the leadership doesn't give a reason it just come off as they are to ashamed to admit that prop 14 was right all along.

As mentioned she stepped down before an announcement could be made, therefore making an announcement redundant.

I see where your coming from. If everyone knew it was just a stepping down you will be right. However the dirty laundry has been aired in public all over the forums as seen by the thread I linked in which she lashed out and attacked the server management and blatantly said she was going to get demoted if she didnt step down and then advisors confirmed she was going to be demoted.

Her making that public post attacking the leadership and talking about her demotion warrants an announcement.

It's not about proving whos right here it's about closure.

You could just leave the subject alone. It's not a matter that involves you or the rest of this community. It simply involves the higher ups and Sibblet. If both parties prefer to not mention as to why something happened it's not going to be mentioned.

Insisting on having a reason listed won't get you very far. Attempting to attack the higher ups and attempting to 'force them' to list a reason won't get you very far either. Your insistence on the matter shows a level of immaturity as to trying to prove how one party was supposedly right and another party was supposedly wrong. The decision made had nothing to do with any points mentioned by said party.

I would recommend you curve your curiosity in another direction because you, like the rest of the community, will not be receiving an answer.
