Honestly not surprised by what you said on your LOA. I don't think anyone is or should be surprised by the way you went out; the same way you went and stayed in: harsh and loud.
All that you said was stuff you were being honest about to begin with. All those people you were dissing and being "brutally honest" about were people you'd been saying the same stuff about for months, on the forums and otherwise. Therefore I don't think any of what you said should have came off as a shocker to anyone, but apparently it did.
Still, say what you will, disrespect is disrespect, and by disrespecting so many people at once in your LOA, you put anyone who wanted you to rejoin in a difficult situation, myself included. You broke forum rules by bashing old and new members of the community. What you said could have been said more constructively and in less disrespectful terms, much like plenty of the others who were leaving did. While it is standard "you" behavior (no offense), it is still against the rules of the community, so now I cannot honestly say that I'd be able to say that you'd make a good member again, at least at the moment.
It seems the staff are in agreement with me on that fact, seeing as how they denied your application for the time being.
I think aj said it best.

Maybe don’t burn bridges??? You didn’t need to make personal attacks! And I get it, we’re all humans so we won’t like everyone but doesn’t mean you have to roast someone who did literally nothing to you at the meeting and apparently went all out on your LOA when it seemed that
For the most part y’all just ignored each other.
