Every video game comes with a different art direction in order to differentiate it from all the other games out in existence and sometimes to affect game play (as seen with Brink and TF2). What art direction (from any video game) do you think is the best and why do you think so?
My favorite art direction would have to go to Fable 2. The world is captivating and truly astonishing with how beautiful it is. You can explore the downtown area where you will find bums and beggers wondering and pleading for a gold piece, abandoned children left to meet their own demise while hanging out with man's best friend, and then explore a ghost town where nothing but ghouls and banshees lurk in every corner, hoping to get the jump on you. The game makes you want to actually be inside of the world and explore every nook and cranny inside its vast and unique world. From townsfolk to Balverines, you are sure to appreciate the art design no matter the location you go to.
I urge everyone to atleast play Fable 2 at some point in their life. Unfortunately, it's only on xbox, but here's to hoping it will get a pc port
