Since I became a higher-up within this community again months ago I've been leaning back as much as I could and just gave my input as advice. Mainly because lot of my thoughts or the direction I wanted EgN to go in wasn't in line with most of the rest of leadership respective of their ranks, from this followed also that I didn't want to spend time implementing something just to get it overridden by some illogical decision-making, and so I largely let the community take what I suggested and let it run with it. But now here we are.

A good example would be the abolishment of the ranks between Member and Staff, while this is something I suggested and something I still strongly support, it was never my intention to not award people who have committed time and effort into this community. To that end I always advocated for the necessity of an awards system, which would allow us even more flexibility than before in awarding various awards in recognition of what you contribute to EgN.

There are many more things I want to build, both technical, as in finally actually getting JB to actually not crash and finally implementing some fun stuff for it. Whether it ends up being in CSS or CSGO. And social, as in improving our community guidelines and having better communication towards our members. But these are beyond the scope of my introduction as Leader and will be elaborated on as we tackle these items.

I will say though if my fellow Staff and I ever make a decision or implement something that you think is suboptimal, then we will always be willing to hear you out on how we could do better. I strongly encourage you to do this! All I ask is that you bring arguments as to why your suggestion would be better, if you do this and argue your case successfully, we will follow your suggestion.

My main goal is to make this a fun and exciting place for you guys

Well thing is, there are a lot of people in this community who would want to see Jailbreak up and revived again, and that will bring more active members, we as a community though have to put in some work to make this happen and do what's best to bring fun and entertainment. The negativity isn't gonna help at all.
