EgN Community / Announcements - Next month's meeting is going to be a week early (December 23rd). We will ALSO have a final year-end meeting on December 30th. Check the calendar and forums for more information.
- Remember to go vote on recruits!
- Speaking of Recruits, Kharn is a recruit to gauge how people perceive him as a leader. Please take the poll seriously, if you have a problem with Kharn's leadership he appreciates if you explain why you have voted no.
- NsG, a splinter clan from EgN, has disbanded as of a couple of weeks ago. We are now receiving members, old and new, from that clan. Please consider that they are not necessarily against EgN, but that they're looking for a new place to call home. Vote on their applications as you would vote on any other applicant.
- Those who wish to expand our clan should heavily consider joining the Development Team. Our servers are our main way of recruitment, the better they are the more people we recruit. Apply today!
- Social media is becoming a larger part of our community and how we recruit members, like us on FaceBook, follow us on Twitter, and watch our streams on Twitch. Check the forums for more information.
- Promotions / Demotions will happen after the December 23rd meeting. Promotion requirements within the clan are outlined on the forums and mainly depend on activity and effort. To become a member, you need to be voted in. To become an elite, you must be active. To become a veteran, you must be active for an extended period of time and help out with the clan. To become a staff, you must be in charge of a vital part of the community's function. Activity across the forums, teamspeak, servers, and server events is measured in considerations for promotions so be sure to be active in all aspects of the community.
- Our steam page contains all of our servers and their IP's. This is a very important for advertising, try to invite all your friends so we grow further! Continue to invite your friends to the servers as much as possible.

It is ultimately up to the discretion of the warden and the highest-ranking admin on the server to determine what is a minor mistake and what is blatant ignoring of orders.
- Issues with early-round lag have been identified and fixed.

Everything seemed perfect imo the only criticism i can think of is maybe highlight the really important thing like kharn being recruit to gauge his leadership (i skipped over that part and voted on him then when i came back to go over everything i saw it)(also no problem with ya kharn i just thought it was a joke <3)

My best advice honestly would be to quit preparing. Just go in there and be you man. Stressing over it and trying to prepare perfect answers will just worry you more and make you nervous. When you interview, you just want to be calm and cool, and be yourself. Give honest answers. All you've got to know is who you are and what you'be done, because that's all they want to know, and everyone knows about themselves. Every interview is different and impromptu usually, because they interview goes on the path that you take it. The interviewer asks questions about you, so you choose that path. Sure they might have questions they pool from, but if you answer "I've never had any work experience" they won't ask you "So tell me all about your last job," so really you can't really prepare for that except knowing yourself. So be you. If you want to prepare, then learn stuff about the company. Learn their website, what they stand for, stuff like that.
Another thing, to make sure they see you are interested, is to view it like you are interviewing them as well. This interview is likely the last chance you have before getting the job, just as it is for them hiring you. So you gotta make sure this what you want. Ask them questions back, information about their company you couldn't find or understand. Don't ask about pay, not for a job like this. But general info stuff, like maybe about what you'll be doing, the work environment, etc.
Hope this helped, GL. I'm pretty much a king at impromptu so for interviews I almost never prepare. But eh, not everyone's like me. Still, hope this helped.

We had a development team meeting after the monthly meeting and we discussed a few things. This was around since the start of the Development Team. We all are the "managers" of the servers. |
