I ranked them from 1 to 4. Just to clarify I am not asking for all 4. Just anyone of them, but I ranked them for the ones I want the most but anyone will do... Thanks in advance if anyone helps me out.
Further it's called secret Santa so you shouldn't post here if you bought something for someone just buy it for them and let it remain a secret ;)!
If you want a gunpowder Total War I'd recommend Napoleon or Shogun 2 Fall of the Samurai (it's a standalone, you don't need actual shogun 2). Both are quite a bit more fluid and better made. The main upside of Empire is the ridiculously large grand campaign map, but it's in battle mechanics can be wonky. Napoleon works much better in battle. The downside to Napoleon is that instead of a huge grand campaign you have two options: several smaller campaign maps based on Napoleon's conquests with you playing as France, or you have a larger (but not as huge as Empire) campaign map that's more free form where you can play as several nations except France. Shogun 2 FOTS has an amazing campaign map and mechanics and performs in battle much much better than the other two, both graphically and mechanically. The only difference is the battles don't have the same "uniform" feel as the other two since it's Japan, not industrial Europe. (As many know I own every Total War game lol)
Also, due to the way steam gifting works I'm pretty sure you can't anonymously gift, it always shows who sent it.
Yeah I know you do wanted to ask you before posting but the main reason I wanted Empire is because one of my friends has t so we can play together then, I also play Total War Rome 2 but it's not on steam.
I would love Napoleon's as well, looks sick. I love games were you have to build something from something small. So yeah thanks but I mostly want games I can play offline so when I rage at CSGO I can chill on them...
Yeah I guess we can say it here it's fine. yeah of course when you send the gift it shows.
BTW thanks Phillip. You just made probably the most hectic week a bit better.
