I've followed collective decisions by the higher ups, I've not followed singular decisions made my Doldol. I am not the only higher up nor member who complains constantly about Doldols' ability to lead and the poor decisions he has made in the past 6 months. Actually we higher ups have made decisions together that Doldol did not agree with so he overrode them. He also doesn't come to us for advice, he simply makes many decisions without consulting us. I have never been approached nor warned about my "behavior."
This is a decision made by Doldol alone that every higher up disagrees with. He attempted to keep it simply between me, Lex, and himself because he knew the other higher ups nor members would agree with the decision. We brought them in on it and they didn't agree. Doldol still wouldn't budge. It was brought to the community's attention as seen and as far as I can tell there are very very few who agree with Doldol's decision. Despite this he still refuses to change his decision. He even attempts to say it was a decision by the higher ups when it wasn't. He cares little about what his community thinks as far as can be shown, and cares more about running things the way he wants to. In a higher up meeting last week he said our members are not wise enough to understand this situation. He left the community because one particular member was avoiding him because he wouldn't leave said member alone for more than a few minutes. He decided a friendship with that single member was more important than being the leader.
In the two and a half years I've been in this community large decisions were always democratic, either between a consensus by the higher ups, by our admins, or by our members. Then suddenly the moment the leader is makign a decision that he knows very few will agree with he attempts to make it alone. After it's made public and he's proven that no one agrees with it he continues to make it. What kind of leader doesn't care about the views of his higher ups? What kind of leader doesn't care about the views of his members?
