Hello Everyone!

DarkRP has taken a lot longer than expected but I'm Proud to announce EgN's latest and newest DarkRP server is ready to play!
We have up to 40+ Jobs and the server is on the map Downtown. Easy to populate!
The DarkRP server will also be looking for active admins to help populate and keep the server free from trolls!

This DarkRP is a Semi-Serious, 128 slot server.

How's the population thus far? I've checked it twice on the server list (before I went to Amsterdam) and both times it looked like it had at least 15 people, but does it stay like that for long?

As you can see the players drop when we push updates to it/ restart.

We are still constantly adding jobs and and I think we will be increasing the amount of allowed jobs

For example let's say we are currently only allowing 2 gun dealers. Well that won't really work when 60 people are online. The gun dealer would be overwhelmed people will barely get guns. not to mention lots of people want to have that job. So as the player base increases and we realize that there is never an empty slot for a job we will make another slot available.

I know I keep saying this but we have to work slowly to increase based on player count and demand.

Like if the server only ever averages 10 people well no one will play if all 10 people are gun dealers. Does that make sense?

Edit: uncreasing isn't a word?!?!

Indeed it does. I was always thinking of a system for these types of servers (RP's in general) that would take the number of people on the server and having a set % of them that could be a certain job. It'd be flexible to the amount of people on the server, and if there are say, around 10 people, then certain jobs would not be playable due to the low number of people.

I'm not 100% sure on how that could be done though. I'm not all that good with lua, but I've heard it's easy to learn.
