In most cases I would agree that its constructive criticism. But what exactly is constructive about everyone quoting the same thing over and over again? For it to truly be constructive everyone would be putting certain things they think he should change. Like hey maybe try not to make it all about sex. Or work on your flow of words my dude (like Yiggles said). Instead three specific comments are the exact same words repeated with nothing helpful in them.
Let me explain myself and why I wrote what I wrote. In my opinion, this rap lacks rhythm in the words, lacks poetic value, and doesn't have to include sexually explicit words inside the song. Little hints of sexual things are okay, but talking about a females genitalia "throbbing" is not okay with me. Our world has a huge problem with over sexualization and I think its disgusting how we have to exploit females, and sometimes males, bodies to gain human interest. So making songs like these doesn't really help extinguish the situation.
Now lets keep in mind that John posted this on the forums for criticism. No matter what you say, it wont change the fact that this is open for criticism. Now I can understand getting ticked off if someone said "John your rap sucks, off yourself in your parents bedroom" but no one has come close to that absurd point. Though people are giving their criticism like John so graciously asked for. So if you see a lot of remarks such as "too much sex talk" and "you dont rhyme", then those are popular opinions which benefits John. If plenty of people dont like a certain thing, and they tell him what they dont like, he can work on changing things. This is why being blunt and honest can really help a person.
So no, he's going to get criticized, just like he should be. It all benefits him in the end.
I get where you're coming from. In fact I praised the criticism that was saying it was too sexual. My whole thing was the fact that one specific line was being continuously quoted. That's not giving him any helpful criticism that's being kind of rude. Don't like? Explain why. Help him. Otherwise what's the point? To be a prick? Your comment was constructive as was yiggles like I said.
