SpaceX just launched the Falcon 9 along the coast of California. These are some of the photo I, and few others, were able to get. The launch took place at a launch site in Vandenberg Air Force Base, California. Nearly five hours away from me. The light coming down in the photos were formed after the main engine cut-off into the second stage separation. Accordingly, those who were within 100 miles of the launch site could hear rumbling coming from sonic waves created by the Falcon 9. Yet another successful launch made by SpaceX, very nicely done! To all my Californians, you guys catch a glimpse? Here are the photos we were able to get.

Fascinating stuff. There's an amateur video of when the Falcon Heavy launched that Tesla into space a few months ago that I'm shocked doesn't have millions of views https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBlIvghQTlI |
