Anyone else reading this one?

I can only handle a chapter every few days due to the mental processing needed, but of the 2 rules I've read I can say it's presented some great reasoning and causes of those 2 chapters.

The "Rule 2: Treat yourself like someone you are responsible for helping" chapter goes into some depth on why animals get better treatment from owners than those owners give unto themselves, as in, why do owners who are suffering from sickness and health issues spend thousands and devote themselves to their pets lives while doing nothing for their own life?

If anyone needs a link to the book I can share, though I'm planning on buying a copy to support the author.

Bought this book last week, only on the first chapter, really good stuff so far looks great. I love Jordan so this was an easy buy for me, anyone interested in general self help would enjoy this.

I own this book, if that's what you're asking.

Peterson's work on the way in which political affiliation aligns with personality is laudable.

You should really check out some of his papers he's had published over the past few years.

I bought this book a few days ago, and it's great. Some of the quotes I like from the book:
"Beauty shames the ugly, Strength shames the weak, death shames the living, and the ideal shame us all" and
"So, listen, to yourself and to those with whom you are speaking. Your wisdom then consists not of the knowledge you already have, but the continual search for knowledge, which is the highest form of wisdom.”

And laugh hysterically as he knows nothing about politics.

Psychology, ok he studied it and while I disagree with his philosophies he does make fair points. I can get with the title of the chapter for ex. And I'm sure he'll make some good points.

But politics and cultural commentation please no. He makes it inexcusable as he uses his notoriety/legitimacy as a psychologist to propel his political/philosophical views and make them seem legitimate.

"Nothing" is obviously intended to be hyperbolic, but he's absolutely not the authority in the way poses to be.
