Yea it's like overpopulation isn't already a thing

I (personally) don't mind getting old and dying and shit. I just want to be able to do the same things that I'm doing now, like skating and junk, without having to worry about my fucking hip breaking from me pushing around. Oh, and yeah, we kinda need to age, otherwise *schmack* you get overpopulation.

Except overpopulation isn't a valid reason in regards to this conception

Also, over population isn't a problem at all. There are hundreds of thousands of acres of unclaimed land in multiple countries. It just seems like this world is over populated because everyone likes to live in the same area.

Humanity will likely never surpass 12 billion people, so yeah over-population isn't something to worry about. (see kurzgesagt video below)

That being said, there's very little drive to improve when you're immortal. Our short lives push us to get shit done. I think our species would stagnate without the looming threat of death.

My comment is in regard of the future. Would it be a problem as of now? No, but future wise yes.

Provided with our current technology we'll colonize other planets long before the population is ever a concern.

We should cure aging for Canadians and let the rest grow old and die
