Maybe not the right place to post this since we don't have a Rust server anymore but I am having a problem, maybe one of you techies can help me out.

I have a 2016 ASUS with a gtx960
8gmRAM

When I play any game it runs like a dream, even space engineers, one of the most graphically intense games I own.. however..
When I play rust it immediately runs my disk at 100%, I can barely join the lowest populated smallest server, I lag like crazy. PVP is impossible.. just really frustrating been looking forward to playing the game for almost a year now and when it went on sale I got it.. now I cant even play the damn game, and if I do join a server it takes upwards of 45 minutes.. Seems pointless to even have tbh. Anyways if anyone ever had this problem or maybe knows how to fix it that would be awesome.

IIRC Rust is just poorly optimized and lags for pretty much everyone

Damn... Kind of disappointing tbh. My game in this state though is unplayable and I know to some standard it works, streamers play the game just fine. Just don't know what the problem is, I guess "Memory Leaks" or whatever, seems like a lot just to get a damn game to work.
