Just to let everyone know, and to the people who have been complaining like crazy. CURRENTLY in regards to the servers, i've changed nothing, nor has anyone else, we are on the OLD NFO servers. Nothing has been changed over yet. We had spun up the JailBreak server when the NFO one was showing signs of instability, and dealing with issues outside of our control, and this went well. There was little CPU usage, no lag (inb4 my ping was high, i'm not talking about your personal ping, talking about server ping) NOW in regards to peoples PINGS we have listened. (cause 40 more ping for some people is bad?) We are currently migrating the server over to Atlanta (East cost) so people will have the same ping (if not better) then the NFO servers we have running atm, once we have fully set up all the servers in the Atlanta DC we will be releasing all the servers and shutting down the NFO servers (like literally a button that says shutdown, and they will sit there if there are any issues) (now to the server managers, don't worry, this won't effect your work you've done moving from PHX to ATL as it's in the process of transferring everything) Any questions just ask me or another staff+ as we can clarify information and things for people instead of rumours spreading and everyone freaking out |

We have pretty much everything done, all the base servers for all the CSS and Gmod servers installed, just need the server managers to sort out their backups from NFO over too the new server. Most of our CSS servers work 100% already (Jailbreak, Zombie, GunGame, Surf) Not sure if RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE implies nothing being done, or what? I mean i'm happy to not update people... or if you don't want to read these posts, don't click on them? |
