Post subject:  Primary, Secondary, Melee - need to give hints? Seems so

So we've always had this honor code with wardens who do Primary Secondary Melee, in where they say you may ask for a hint, and they will give you one. We just had a random who went warden do the game and said no hints will be given (note it was because "we killed him so many times" and also hes generally toxic)

What's the rule on this? Would it go under favoritism? We have to face a wall or just generally away from him and we have little to no information on what the weapon equipped could be, especially so without a hint!

Personally I say no hints. It was originally started with no hints and only recently that certain wardens gave hints. However, if it comes to be flat out no hints I'd say make it refusable as it is purely luck based even though everyone has the same degree of luck to survive.

He gave hints before even though he said he didn't which is why i was calling bullshit saying favouritism. if he didn't give the first hint i wouldn't have given a shit
but after that it wasn't suprising that he killed me when i got it right then proceeded to go AFK when the map changed next round so he didn't get a slay and didn't get an LTAP

Primary, Secondary, Melee is for wardens who is triggerhappy and wants to bump up his kda. I believe that game is horrible and trash. With Hints its just timedelay, without hints its just kda booster in my opinion.


There is so many other games there is luck based if u actually wanna do a luck based game.
0 actions of t's have to be afk frozen for an entire round just to get killed to a 33 win % game. this game is trash :(

If u have a report to make on a favourtistic warden do it in request a ban :)

Exactly my opinion as well.
80%of Ts will die if no hints and if u give hints the Ts have to be stupid in order not to guess correctly.

Just a waste of time. But if u insist on playing it just give the hints since u will ruin the round if u don't. But then u come to my previous point so ye

Gotta decide for yourself

*BUT* It shouldn't be anecdotal and purely decided by who the flavor of warden of the day is. That's why I'm asking this, to get a firm answer on it. Maybe it should be brought up in the next Admin meeting? Any Staff+ to chime in? @Mattlikespie has a great handle on the rules so I'll hit him up real quick.

it's a stupid game that means everyone either has a 33% chance to live, or a 100% chance to live if warden is giving hints. Less than 100% if the T is stupid.
