So many people have expressed their concerns and interest in running the Minigames server, and I thought I'd make a post about it. I am the current manager of the server and will be for a while more. I know people have requested that they take it over and run it, but due to the popularity and the importance of the server I feel more comfortable with a Staff+ running the server with a good knowledge of how it works. Now that does not mean I dont care to hear what issues you are having with the server, and some plugins/addons that you guys would like to see on the server. So, here is a thread for you guys to suggest some plugins. When you are making a suggestion, please format it in a really nice way and make sure you add a link to the plugin and some cool pictures/videos of it in action! Please do not just post "auto bhop" in the comments and expect me to add it immediately. All plugin/addons will be approved by myself and Dyno. Another thing is, i wanted to discuss the minor issues that have been fixed in Minigames in the past month.
- We will be adding the E weapon pick up for easy weapon pick ups. - There will be a store plugin, but we are trying to find one that will work with the server. - RTD was added to new maps and re-added to multi-minigames. - Timer was reset and fixed due to lag on multi-minigames. - Lag was reduced due to deletion of certain useless files on the servers FTP. I'd still like the removal of escape from blackmesa if it has not already been, since it is a singleplayer map only. |
