Just need a clarification on this, as there seems to be some confusion, the forum seems to suggest that CTs can make Ts face a direction (no longer than a minute) for any reason.

However, it has been argued that Ts can only be made to face a direction if they are ordered to AFK Freeze. Is this true? If so, can we clarify this in the rules?

If you read the thread in the thread that explains this then yes, that's it. If a CT says "Take a step out of your cell, face the back and freeze" you can regular freeze, the only restriction upon direction is when AFK freeze is in order.
