So I got this answer a while ago, basically I was told that when it comes to the use of admin powers (e.g. low gravity, giving all players weapons, etc.) all players have to be okay with a specific change in order to proceed, otherwise it can be construed as admin abuse and one can lose their admin.

Now that Elites+ are able to vote, can a passing vote now enable us to use admin powers? For example, I call a vote for lowgravity next round and it passes with 70%, am I able to lower the gravity next round? Or does it need to be 100%?

I cannot tell you that you can do this regardless - it's in the FAQ explicitly saying you shouldn't be using your admin for fun. But should you choose to ignore this rule, which I do not advocate, yes, I'd like to see 100%. Everyone needs to be on board with the...abuse. It only takes one person to complain for us to have reason to take your admin. If everyone's on board, willing to stray away from the Jailbreak mod that they join to play in the first place, it's not very nice of us to take your admin away for that, despite the fact we have every reason and right to. If one person doesn't like it, just wants to play some Jailbreak, then play some Jailbreak.

100%.

Yeah it was always sort of a grey area, and I suppose I hear what you're saying regarding the purpose of admin, but it's kind of a dangerous argument to say that it strays from the mod as by your logic wardays would also be straying away from the Jailbreak mod by turning it into deathmatch. So sure, if you don't want us using our admin abilities for fun, I hear you, but then why do we have them in the first place?

Don't you have to have responsibility and self-control when you become an admin? Shouldn't it not be a problem to just not use it?

Sure but by that logic why don't we also have access to respawn? Or just root abilities? Shouldn't it not be a problem to just not use it?

To reword I guess - bottom line, don't abuse, at all. But, we trust you guys, we want you to have fun. So yea, a vote using these commands, we can turn a blind eye if its done responsibly. If it's not responsible - i.e. someone complains about it - then that's not good.

Basically such things as Matt said can be used IF ONLY said vote reaches 100% and 100% only, not 99% or any else, 100% and when it comes to getting reported as Matt said it will be difficult in removing your admin for it because it's what the Ts wanted, and they voted for it.

So for say a T wanted a Gorilla Day, and they cannot do that unless there's an Elite on yo setup a vote to see if the Ts want this Gorilla Day, and the vote passes at 100%, the Gorilla Day can then proceed, otherwise if it is not 100% then you cannot do the Gorilla Day because everyone who voted must have voted Yes, it only takes 1 No to not do the Gorilla Day.
