OK, so I get that CTs can't throw any nades on Jailbreak.

But the question is, can Ts throw grenades?

I understand that if a T throws a HE nade at a CT and it damages they're rebelling so can be killed. I also get that if a T throws a flash/smoke right at a CT and it does even 1 dmg (be it armour or hp) then they're rebelling.

However, what is unclear is whether or not a T who thrwos a HE/flash/smoke that does no damage to a CT whatsoever is reblling or not.

Some admins think they're still rebelling, some don't. It's causing much confusion and upset.

Can staff clear this up?

Frankly, I find it funny that the CTs can't use something they're supplied with in their own armory. Even during a warday and instead only allow terrorist or the prisoners, who should be the last person you'd want to be able to possess a grenade, from the CTs own inventory or hidden/smuggled in cells to use them.

OK, I agree the CTs not allowed grenades is stupid but I get that it's jsut to make sure nobody nades a stack. My question is regarding the Ts though.

The CTs are meant to keep things under control and follow basic protocol. Throwing grenades at people isn't protocol. But a terrorist is a terrorist, he hates the rules and nobody can stop him from breaking the law and throwing a grenade. In short, admins shouldn't be regulating the rule towards terrorist. The terrorist have little to no rules against them. They can't free kill like the CTs and are criminal scum. Only rules they can break is mostly outside game problems such as racial slurs, spams and aimbots for the most part

Yes but Im asking in a CT capacity. Can CTs kill them for throwing grenades aimlessly that hurt nobody? Or is it a freekill for a CT to kill a T that throws a smoke grenade nowhere near any CTs?

Throwing a gernade, being a smoke gernade, flash bang, or hand gernade, is punishable for both CT's and T's. However, I do think it's rather irrational that's CT's are not permitted to throw gernades at any point in time.

And to make it more clear; yes you can kill a T who throws a smoke grenade, even if it does no damage!

this rule was always listed under the "CT Only" rules.

Also, spoiler altert, this rule is going to be removed as soon as the rules are updated (i.e., at the conclusion of the last admin update meeting)

So to make it clear

Past;
There was a rule saying ct's could not throw nades of any kind

Also, there was a rule saying any T throwing any nade could be punished

Future;
Ct's will be allowed to throw any nades again

However, there will still be a rule saying any T throwing any nade could be punished
