Almost everyone has gotten a flu shot at one point in their life. Even if you do get the shot you are not fully protected from some strains of the flu. I got the flu shot towards the end of November in 2017, earlier this week I was told I had strain A (H1N1) of the Flu. It started off like a common cold, but overnight it came to the point where I could barely breath, I was having chills, I had a fever of 103.5. Did you know that roughly 36,000 people die in the United States due to the flu or complications from the flu. Already 20 children have been reported dead, and the "flu season" doesn't usually end till late February but can run as late as May. To help prevent yourself and others from getting the flu; wash your hands, when you cough or sneeze do it into a tissue or your sleeve, and avoid touching your mouth and your nose. The most common symptoms of the flu are: pain in the muscles or joints, dry cough, runny nose, fever, chills, and sore throat. If you think you or a loved one has the flu, don't wait too long to do see a doctor. Thanks for reading, i'm going to go back to bed. This years flu shot is, supposedly, only 10%-25% effective too whereas it'd normally be around 40% effective dang researchers guessin' wrong |

I was sick with the flu heading over on the plane on holiday, it was horrible when the pressure dropped and rose during takeoff and landing, couldn't equalize my ears... don't suggest anyone flying with the flu. |

The current vaccines are showing only a 10-25% reduction in total amount of flu cases, but are still showing an over 90% reduction in symptoms of those who have the flu. Basically, even if you get the flu after getting the vaccine, you'll likely be better off than someone who got the flu and didn't get the vaccine. |

I caught the early, un-evolved, un-adapted level 1 flu from an extended family member a little over a month ago. Temp was like 99 for a day, with some aches. Trained through that shit, ate like 8000 calories of quality macros, slept for an entire day, coughed a lot with a humidifier and was back to normal a couple days later. If I caught it now it'd be level 50 super-saiyan evolution MAX iteration flu after being transferred through thousands of people and I'd get my ass whooped. I carry nv95 masks with me whenever I go out, I don't trust people. Feel better! Remember to drink lots of fluids, and tea. EAT AND SLEEP! |
