It's time to vote again! Every 18+ EgN member who is currently a U.S. Citizen should exercise this fundamental right. Sure, it's an off-year, but off-year elections have even worse turnout than our presidential elections (which is also abysmally low compared to other countries). To put it another way, your one vote can count for as much as 5 other people if voter turnout is 20% or lower in your area. To get polling locations, hours for these locations, and information about who's on your ballot: http://www.vote411.org/enter-your-address To get itemized lists of where your candidates stand on various issues: http://www.ontheissues.org Whoever you vote for, even if you're writing in Cookie Monster, make sure your voice gets heard! |
