New Jersey teen Megan Flaherty definitely knew how to make a entrance that won't be soon forgotten. The 17-year old showed up to her high school's prom in a hearse. Yes you read that right, a hearse. When asked why she wanted to show up in a hearse? "I like being different," she said. Not only does she credit herself with being different but she also plans to have a future career as a funeral director. She also has done odd jobs with a family friend that owns a funeral parlor so it was fairly easy for her to borrow the hearse and coffin. Of course with anything nowadays everyone has a problem somewhere. One local woman was quoted saying the act was "classless, tasteless, and insensitive," also saying "I am not surprised her goal is to be a funeral director. When she applies for the job, I am betting more than one funeral home will reject her for mocking the dead." I for one thought it was a cool idea that people will never forget and that is definitely what high school is for, getting ready for the real world and making memories what will last a lifetime.
