So I've engineered a few songs that ended up getting pretty popular, but, by far, this one is like, actually my favorite piece of work. Some of the work I've done is just as popular, but nowhere near as catchy or bouncy. If you want to know the process of how something like this works, specifically this one, my friend Ant will make a beat and send it over to the artist. The artist then listens, and writes his lyrics. After that, he sits in his dark ass bedroom, and I SHIT YOU NOT, records his verses on a Blue Yeti microphone (less than $100 microphone)... don't get me wrong, I'm not shitting on anyone. My mic was kinda cheap too, but it's studio quality at least. So The artist recorded 3 or 4 vocal trackings (that were also mixed terribly, you could hear the beat in the background) .... And I took Ant's beat, the artist's 4 shitty-ass Blue Yeti trackings (and yes, they were mixed awfully... it took alot of effort to make it sound good), and used my amazing (LOL) skills to make it sound dope. So before you halfheartedly congratulate me, just know that this took A LOT of working and experimenting to make it sound "good" or at least radio friendly (apparently it's been spun in Daygo)... it only sounds "good" because I spent 6 hours on it. IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE EVERYONE IS NOW GOING TO LISTEN TO THE VOCAL QUALITY AND SAY "WOW YEAH THAT BLUE YETI SOUNDS LIKE TRASH LOL" [➢➣➢➣➢➣➢] - [➢➣➢➣➢➣➢] - [➢➣➢➣➢➣➢] Legitimately tell me what you think-- The song, the mixing, the beat, everything. |

I listened to half of it. Its good but not my type of music. Good job on this! Did they put you in their credits? |

The police went into my wallet and was going through stuff. In there, I had a bunch of my business cards. My business cards, didn't have direct access, but EASY ways to get to my instagram (with pictures of bud and all sorts of stuff) and my music. But they didn't just look at my business card, they took at least one of them out, and replaced it with one of their own police business cards. I went home and immediately deleted my entire instagram. (RIP 7K FOLLOWERS) Do you know what the deadric alphabet is? Have you ever seen the cover for the game Oblivion (the game before Skryim)? That weird logo on the cover of Oblivion is Deadric for the letter "O" ... so my alias comes out to KS, so thats what I tell drug people to call me now. |

So, i dont like this kind of music but, the producing and what u have done with perhaps a very terrible mic (and even a bad rapper mby, idk) then this is actually a masterpiece. the work and talent u have to make it sound this good is amazing. Big ups :) |

As a person who has studied audio and sound for many years, i can say without a doubt that this sounds professional. If what you are saying is correct and you mixed a blue yeti into this, then you have something going there. Now, just start mastering and mixing better artists and you’ll be good to go. |

Wow good job. Consider a career in mastering things other than music videos, that's where the money is. Also, not many people are going to realize how much post work even the most basic music video takes, and the post production people rarely get credit. Just something we gotta live with I guess. |
