Post Malone, Marshmellow, and Rich Chigga paid some respects to the dead rapper via twitter. Y'all crazy kids gotta relax on the xans & lean, i never said lil peep was a smart guy but dying at 21 years old ain't how shit should go for anyone. |

RIP, was one of my favorite rappers, listen to a lot of his songs. Would never forget him, always cherish his music and listen to them over and over, he will not be forgotten from this world. My favorite song from him. |

This is why hiphop culture is such a negative influence. It promotes all this drug use, makes it seem like a trendy thing to do |

If you plan on replying to this with a counter-argument, how about you just say RIP and move along instead. He already died due to the drug problem and suicidal thoughts portrayed in his lyrics, this isn't the thread for you to pop in with the "i told you so" & "drugs are bad mkay" No shit it's bad. He's dead. |

He's dead. I think one could say that creativity and extreme self-expression is linked to this, the relative OD/suicide percentage is extreme among these people. I'd say there is a difference between people that "artistically" encourage drug abuse etc, and people who talk about their struggles with it artistically as a means of self-expression. The former just talks about it because it's easy income and I wouldn't see them committing suicide (eg. 50 Cent), but truly creative people like Kurt Cobain would. I'd say it goes hand in hand, sadly. |
