So, during the move to the new place my 144hz Curvy Boi screen broke. I was kind of looking for a reason to start upgrading my monitors, it just happened sooner than I would've wanted it to. My main issue with my last monitor was that it wasn't vesa mount capable. Meaning in the future when I'm in a more permanent home, I wouldn't be able to get a triple mount for my desk like I'd like to. So, I got a new nicer monitor (in comparison to what I've had/have) here. I plan to get a couple more in the future to replace my other 2 shitty 2nd-hand monitors I have and then move to a triple headed mount. I love it so far. I also bought a small drawing tablet, one of those where you can use the pad / stylus to write and draw on the desktop. It's kind of fun to use, and will be nice for some work things or drawing out some of my ideas for projects. I'm just happy to have it for when the use-case comes up. Next thing I plan to upgrade is my desk. Currently have this $60 L-Desk I got from Amazon, which is less stable than I'd like it to be and I'd like to have some drawers for storage probably. Current Setup. Flash is kind of overpowering, but you get the point. There's a couple feet of desk hidden behind the chair.

Not a recent picture but practically the same setup with an additional picture of my cat, but not much that I plan on upgrading now / soon but eventually I do want a new monitor to replace the lefty over there And after a period of time, I'd like to buy a new laptop before I move down to LA so I can have a more travel pack for Adobe Premiere Pro & Lightroom. Looking into that Dell xps 15 9560 ;) |

Looking into that Dell xps 15 9560 ;) Nice, I have a couple of laptops. Nothing for anything too intensive, but just portable work stations for when I need to travel to a client's site or something. One running Linux for other side projects, one running windows. Super garbage specs, but good enough for the few times a year I do use them. |
