Post subject:  Possible Hardware issues?

Okay so I'm gonna keep this short and sweet.

I really have no idea what the issue is on my PC that is causing this, but I do know that it ONLY happens when I play League of Legends(please withhold all comments dogging LoL)
I can usually play a match or two of it and then it will hard freeze my entire PC and eventually Blue Screen and restart, I have had this PC for 5 years, and had no issues up until now with it. I can play any other game all day long and not have a single issue, but I do want to play LoL sometimes(Plus I got to Gold and have spent $2k on it so...)

I have tried cleaning out my PC, I factory reset it, Ive taken it apart and put it back together, I've contacted Riot, nothing has helped, so after talking to Indi on CS I decided to post it here to see if anyone has some tips or maybe a fix.

I know in my experience sometimes nvidia drivers end up causing bluescreens for me. So I would try going back to older drivers to see if that fixes it. I don't remember what stop code the bluescreen would have when nvidia drivers were the problem but I knew they caused it.
Otherwise...
A quick google search leads me to this. Which is a few ways to fix "DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION"
That's as much as I can offer/think of at this current time.

I walked ephex through some troubleshooting and installed a different driver, then he went to play some league. hasn't told me it's crashed again as of yet.

i blue screen on a day-to-day so you can just hand those blue screens to me and i won't fix it but i'll hold on to them for you

So i have a 6 or 7 year old pc and it does that too. ALTHOUGH it only does that WHEN the pc gets to hot. Have u tested that, mby the graphics are set to high in LoL, because it happens more frequently for me in the summer, rather than in the winter :)

Yeah bro same thing happened to me with rust, Dolv actually helped me fix it.
Go directly into your Nividia settings and change your resolution one setting lower, and I dont know the actual setting but it says "local or global" Make sure global is clicked. If you had them auto update for some reason it turned those off for some windows 10 users
