Who wants to play Super Smash Bros. Melee or Smash Bros 64 online with me? You use Dolphin emulator and the Netplay tool built in. No port forwarding, no Hamachi, just click and go. I even have Gamecube controllers with the adapter. You can use any gamepad or even keyboard if you don't have the GC controller tho. Someone wanna play? There's a huge matchmaking community for it with tons of players playing every minute of every day across all 4 smash games.
