Post subject:  My review on my new phone

Last Thursday I had lost my Samsung J5 2016 on the metro in which I contacted metro and they claim they have not received any phones matching my description, therefore it has most likely been stolen. I had blocked both my SIM and device.

Since Monday I have had my new phone, which is the Samsung Galaxy S8, which I absolutely love. I love the design and the fact that it has no home button, and that it has the software buttons for the navigation such as recent apps, home, and back button.

Phone specs [copied and pasted]:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Dimensions: 148.9 x 68.1 x 8.0 mm
Weight: 155 g
5.8" Quad HD+ Super AMOLED (2960x1440)
570 ppi
Infinity Display: a bezel-less, full-frontal, edge-to-edge screen.
Default resolution is Full HD+ and can be changed to Quad HD+(WQHD+) in Settings.
*Screen measured diagonally as a full rectangle without accounting for the rounded corners.

I find this phone a wonder to use, it just looks beautiful too, I'd say better than the iPhone X, other people has their preferences of course.

I currently use iris scanner as my biometric lock method as well as a PIN. I refuse to use the face scanner as my brother can access the phone too with that, which yes I have already tried and works, god damn it Samsung.

I also like the edge panel and how it's customizable, search Google to view it.

I have my screen display resolution to 4k (2960x1440) and my camera can record 4k as well as photos.

The placement of the fingerprint scanner isn't all that great, which is beside the camera, but does not bother me at all as I don't use it unless some apps may only take fingerprint as a method to unlock it, such as the MyEE app.

Below is an attached photo of the phone from an angled POV.

Sleek. Cool phone, I'm waiting for a pre-order ages ago for the RED Hydrogen. RN I have a cracked screen LG G5, and it....gets the job done lol.

2960x1440 isn't 4k though my friend. 4k is typically 2160p, or 3840x2160 and up on the horizontal. 2960x1440 is Wide 2.5k. Or WQHD Wide Quad HD. 21:9 MASTER RACE

It has 4K video shooting although the quality goes up to 1080p

Excellent review! However, I will always stick with the iPhone (unless they mess up the next design)
