Now what I'm looking for a serious recommendations to upgrade my pc. I'll most likely be upgrading my pc soon and need to know what would be best. Let us leave price range somewhat out of the picture... just don't go overboard.

Incase any of you wanted to know my specs so you can judge what I really need specifically. Here they are in the spoiler. (Simplified)
Spoiler: Show

I plan on adding a SSD, possibly 250gb maybe more haven't really decided yet, but probably from the 850 EVO series.
I'm also either gonna add 2x8 or 2x4 for the ram.
Other than that, I kinda need other peoples opinions on what I should get.

I refuse to get less than 16G of RAM

I really wish I had an SSD and as a gamer 256G is weeak. I'd suggest at least a TB but that ups your price a good bit. I'd get rid of HDD completely if I could

Honestly the rest of your specs aren't bad. So if budget was a concern those two are probably be the things I'd upgrade.

Actually considering price, I just looked at the pricing and it wasn't that huge ($500 CAD). Thanks.

Now that I know what SSD I want, I'm mostly looking towards the big boys now (CPU, GPU, possibly motherboard).

Why the hell would you get rid of your HDD completely?

I have an 850 series ssd they are good.

Put your 1tb as a second drive and have all your games store and read from there it’s more than fast enough for the game and just have your os on the ssd so 250gb is more than enough for the ssd.

Buy two 8gb and add them to your 2 4gb make sure you put them in the correct channel slots. The board will handle 64gb memory so no worries there.

Buy more ram and the ssd and then start overclocking. Do you know what the clockspeed is for your ram? Idk how much that board will let you change either. But I would push the limits of what you have first.

I have built PC's for friends so if you tell me a price range I can formulate a build for you. I built and old members, Timmy's, computer and hes been in love with it ever since. So let me know a time you can meet on TeamSpeak and I can go through the process with you.

Never said I would unless you were referring to Matt. I have about 5 more slots to add hardrives/ssd's in I think.

I would get an SSD and more RAM.

Most importantly; What are you planning on doing with your computer? Where are you experiencing slow performance??
