Does anyone know any programming languages like HTML, CSS or Lua? I'm currently learning HTML as part of one of my electives.

You doing web design as an elective? As long as you pay attention to the lecture or just ask for help when needed you should be good, its like learning another language such as french its all about practice

Not exactly web design, I'm doing Computer Science Discoveries, and one of our units is Web Design, so you're partially correct.

Learned C for high school robotics, it used a highly specialized and proprietary library so I couldn't apply my knowledge to much outside of robotics, but it did teach me how to think in algorithms.

I think all grade school kids should have at least a couple semesters of computer programming. Such a useful tool, and at the bare minimum it's a new way of thinking about solving problems.
