I don't think I've EVER seen a horror film in theaters specifically on Halloween but I did today with my uncle. We saw the new Jigsaw film. I don't know how they did it, but they made this a prequel. All in all, it was a pretty damn decent film. I'm just shocked they're able to keep coming up with ways (or excuses, if you will) to continue the franchise. I won't spoil anything obviously, but I liked it. 7.5/10. I recommend it. Happy Halloween you filthy animals!

As long as the movies keep making money, they're going to keep churning them out every year.

Maybe not a prequel before the very first film, but definitely not a direct continuation from where Saw 7 left off. Plus, it's not too much of a spoiler anyway. I think had I told you where specifically in the Saw timeline it takes place, it would've been a real spoiler.
