There isn't a way as far as I know. Your best bet is to record a new one at the start of every round because the demo will hit the cap pretty quickly.

Recently Tricky told me the Staff+ don't like using Google Drive or Mediafire because it can be deleted at any time unlike uploading it to the forums.

Personally, I think you should be able to record a video of the demo and post it on the forums along with the file in Google Drive or Mediafire.

got a nice idea, you can download bandicam then open that app, and straightly go to the game > open that demo and start recording with bandicam the shots you need from that demo, i guess you can upload the recorded file here, if didn't work, upload it to youtube then post the youtube link over here. guess its a harder way :P

As a previous staff, I recommend being careful about uploading really long demos though. It really takes a lot of time from them because there's no skip button, and fast forwarding isn't that fast and if they accidentally fast forward over part of it they have to rewatch the demo since rewinding crashes. *I imagine it's long since you somehow made a demo size too big :p*

I suggest when making a demo, hit your record button at the start of the round, if nothing happens, hit stop and record again overwriting.
If you DO catch something, Record a new demo under a different name that way you won't overwrite what you caught but will avoid making one long demo of the whole affair.

I wouldn't do Dolvs idea if you're using the demos for a ban report, or complaint since they do not take videos as evidence and has to be demos or screenshots. But if you're just making a demo for fun for your own videos, I do exactly as Dolv says. :p

^^

Please save us the trouble and make demos a reasonable amount of time. We rarely if not at all except other forms of videos as evidence. That is because they can be deleted or tampered with. If it was just an mfk you can post a screenshot of console with the kill feed. Any other form of evidence other than demos is hard to accept.

Came back to try and find this. Tried splitting a demo file and it looks like it's somehow slightly broken
but even then, we can't upload the split files on to ban reports because we're only allowed to upload certain filetypes
