I mean I’ve never heard his music, but he kinda is Chris brown....and I can respect if you like(d) his music but as a person known to be violent and known to hit women.....karma. However that being said he didn’t deserve to be gunned down. No one does.

Kinda was a he said she said convo, keeps getting put down (they had a couple cases) and she apparently said she lied about the situation so it's pretty sticky but yea his music go hard.

Really sad to see people focusing on his negative past when he was given a chance and spent the last months of his life improving himself and helping others. I know the people who are remembering him in a negative light wouldn't like to get another chance and spend the rest of their life spreading positivity just for people to ignore their progress and disrespect them when they die. It's quite clear if you look at the last months of his life and the things he was doing that he was making progress and was turning himself into a better person. Most of the things he is being criticized for are either untrue or he made right with the person and earned their forgiveness.

having done good afterwards doesn't negate the horrible things he did prior though, and I simply believe he's not an individual that should be "put on a pedestal". I think it is good to point out his attempt at improving himself as you did though, but it's still wise to remember the negative things he did as well.

Whether you were a fan of his or not, he clearly wasn't an amazing human. Doesn't mean he deserves what happened to him, far from it, but just because he passed doesn't mean he should be treated as a saint.

I was certainly no fan of his music. Personally, I don't like him anymore than I do any other modern rappers (which I don't). But, with that being said, I know plenty of people who did like his music, which I can respect. Thus, it's a shame to hear he got shot.
