I can't predict the future, imo people shouldn't be punished/restricted by what could or might happen, if at all feasible.

We can just lock/ban/delete when someone does break the rules.

It wouldn't be fair for us to discuss some political views in some other topic and not let other people do the same somewhere else.

I do agree that the opening post is low-quality.

Hopefully the meeting leads the the denuclearization of NK, but it probably wouldn't be permanent if I had to guess. I think its largely due to all of the sanctions Trump has been slapping on NK, and now they are really feeling the heat. All we know for sure is that Kim wants a peaceful discussion, and is pledging to stop testing his missiles, and there is absolutely no benefeit to him if he were to lie about that. Where were you when Trump delayed WW3?

I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of all of this.

We're probably nowhere near seeing all these issues with NK (the human rights violations, border tensions, etc.) ending, but at least with the NK being willing to open communications like this is a step in the right direction.

I find the timing excellent too, since they were even willing to speak to SK. I haven't been much following into that one though. Did anything come out of the discussions Kim Jong-Un had with the SK president?
