I've been playing the guitar for a good while now... I'm not really happy with how I play most times. I just listen to songs on YouTube with autoplay and then eventually find a song I want to practice to and then I go do that on my guitar. As the great Kylo Ren has stated before me..."You need a teacher". I'm looking for anything, and I mean A N Y T H I N G, that will help me teach myself how to play better. I need to get to the point where I can do Raining Blood by Slayer no problem. So show me, the links for good and healthy guitar practice. |

you can try the app Yousician pretty good app. also if you can play the guitar solo in Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd i'll pay for your admin (its easier than it sounds) |

watch stuff like this to get the basics, they are pretty ez to follow along with and you can start adding your own shit when u understand whats happening |

If you would be down for a skype session or something of the sort next week I could give you an easy lesson to help with writing originals, Improv etc. Im no teacher, just a metal head that knows his way around a guitar lol. Just pm if you wanna set something up Id be more than happy to help. |

How many hours would you say you've played? How long do you practice daily? What are you most displeased with your current playing? I've screwed around with stringed instruments for all my life, but only got my first bass guitar for last xmas, so I can't give you specific advice, but I've been playing piano for 17 years so I have lots of info about general things that benefit all musicians. |
