I've heard from Staff that you are supposed to remain facing the back of your cell, while being able to crouch, knife, move your mouse slightly, etc.

If you've heard from Staff then what's to clarify js lol. But otherwise, yes, this is correct.

Freeze is defined in the rules; basically says no WASD. The warden says to freeze, but also gives a direction to face, placing a constraint on the freeze order. Kinda like when they say crouch to the bottom of main cell stairs, but jumping is restricted. That's a constraint on the order. So, yes, you should still face the back of your cell and be able to do as you described.

I feel like this needs to be cleared up since some people don't understand this. In the order:"Take one step out of your cell, face the back of your cell, freeze.", do you have to be facing the back of your cell, or can you freelook? I've heard from Staff that you are supposed to remain facing the back of your cell, while being able to crouch, knife, move your mouse slightly, etc. Yet some people INSIST that you are allowed to freelook. So, how do you interpret this? Edit: I'm only posting this here because the admin meeting results are locked and this wasn't clarified during the meeting.

on my side i feel that they should free look since its just a regular freeze just as long as you look at the back of your cell at least one since its implied in the order.

I've been playing like that for a lot of time. Because just because we don't say afk freeze, doesn't mean we can't force you to look in a certain direction.
