Alan Watt hands down. His philosophy makes sense to me and really resonates with me, it's not some convoluted theories that only makes sense when applied with other convoluted theories. |

Marx and Durkheim. I don't agree with either of them per se, but I find the discussion between Marxism and Functionalism fascinating. |

Nah not really, he never supported what the Nazi party ultimately stood for (war, killing minorities, etc.) See someone supporting something doesn't deter me away from that person, it's their actions that does. Most philosophers will rather explain to you their thoughts from their perspective rather than act irrational because you don't agree with them. Even if he was a sympathetic to the Nazis, his actions never reflected ill intent. |
