Post subject:  Is Papa John toxic for the community?

So I decided to make this post here because we shouldnt be hosting discussion on the ban report section.

But recently Papa John was permanently ban. I am sure it was not for this one offense, and was actually about a build-up of offenses. Just going to say about the most recent offense that he was not alone when "joking" about what happen, multiple people were also joking about it as well. Anyway the main reason was according to the report was "toxic to the community", which I believe is not true. He his highly liked by the community even though he trolls alot more than other players. Personally I believe other players/ransoms are more toxic then Papa but I won't be calling out names. So I would like to say if being toxic to the community is the real reason, why not let the community decide?

I wouldn't say Papa Johns is a toxic player. If anything, he's just a massive troll who is usually the life of the server when he is on. That's a "Not Toxic" from me

Telling people to type 'rcon' in console knowing for a fact it'll get him banned is very troll/toxic moves, in why that sort of behaviour is not allowed. He's been perm banned before when he asked for it and Bourne given it to him as requested, but the ban was then shortened to 1 month.

I came on the server about last month and saw him, yet still to change his spray when I asked him god knows how long but I simply ignored it and told him not to spray it again, and which finally he followed my saying.

Overall he's a toxic player, who knows admins have the last say and to always be respected and if an admin tells you to do something, your very well expected to do it, and Papa Johns did not.

I'm the end Matt did what he feels he needed to do, and I think he needed to do that.

I agree the community should decide. Not just a few people who want to protect the community. There should always be a vote on these kinds of things. Papa was and is loved by many of the members and random's some people just don't like him because of his kind of humor others for him poking fun at them but at the end of the night he can make tons of users laugh and most of the time when word gets out that he's on the server it brings people on and populates the server.

I think a perm ban is a bit excessive, considering that's one of the very few bans given due to "toxicity" (to the best of my knowledge). I've seen plenty people talking about/encouraging others to type "rcon" in console for fun before, w/o (much) ill intent.

I'm not to sure actually I think quite a bit of people have been perma banned for toxicity (including my self) but I agree a lot of people tell others to type it not just papa johns, Snapchat me told me to type it a while ago when he was a recruit and there were plenty of members on no one did a thing, I typed it and was banned ofc if he got banned for telling people to type rcon in console that's pretty lame especially a perm.

We are trying to pass the message that we dont tolerate toxicity in this clan and it's in need for change. Telling people to go type rcon in console a bunch of times is no way to play, you play with people and this game to have fun doing It, if you're going out of your way to get someone banned by something easily done by rcon, that's being an assume.

Just because someone likes to fool around doesn't mean they are toxic, im pretty sure toxic means that a person is actively trying to make everyone around them have a bad time or to piss them off. I think pll get way to over protective about the community and forgot the to the rest of us this is just a fun game we play to hang out with each other.

I remember the good ol' days when kharn said that anything besides discrimination is alright and if you did like some one elses opinion just ignore it.

Not sure when staff decided this community should go from an 18+ shooter club to a club penguin safe space but i dont like it :/

This 100% this we are here to have fun in the end and godammit Papa was here to have fun like the rest of us too. I also remember when disrespect was consider just a excuse to be ban happy like everyone gets trashed talked every now and then.

We need to stop babying everyone, if they're dumb enough to type rcon then they deserve what comes next. It's the internet don't trust what everyone tells you congrats you learned something new.

First and foremost it was not his idea to joke about rcon someone else brought it up, then literally 3/4 people were joking about it. You cannot single papa John out for this one event when multiple players are doing it.
