Post subject:  Someone Almost Died Today
So I was in my sociology class today and we were learning about socialization in the community. Then all of a sudden, a kid next to me started having a major seizure. I was legit scared out of my mind, and my heart sank to the floor. Though, I was trained in handling these types of situations, and we called 911, had them come, and they took him away.

This was probably one of the craziest things to happened to me in the middle of class. Just before EMS came, his seizure stopped, he got up, then had this weird wide-eye look. No even joking, he was sitting up straight looking at one area only. Then my teacher and I got the kid to snap out of it, but then he passed out. I was so confused at this point, so much that I was happy the EMS came shortly after that.

Apparently he went into a weird state of shock, had a bad seizure, and then got a concussion from hitting his head during the seizure. This dude got it bad today, and I'm going to the hospital later to see how he is.

Just wanted to share this story, and say how crazy it is that terrible things can happen at the most random of times.

I watched my sister have a seizure once. It's scary stuff.

We were about to throw some laundry in the washer and she asked me if I wanted to do whites or darks first and then she fell against the laundry hamper and started seizing. At first I thought she was just being weird and trying to sit in the laundry basket until I realized what the hell was going on. Luckily both my mothers are EMTs and were home so they came downstairs and did whatever you're supposed to do. When she came back we told her she broke the hamper and owes us a new one and that she's not allowed to do laundry anymore because apparently that's too hard for her (Jokingly).

I was the trained alarm to yell at my moms to come and help
