If he bottomfrags and is basically useless those wins he wont rank up since those wins probably aren't in a row and he's probably lost games too.


Tips to rank up:(Saw this somewhere)
-String match wins together.
-Stay alive longer into the rounds.
-Winning clutch situations.
-Headshots and KDR
-Entry frags.

ELO gains come from things like that.


That's all speculation, we have no idea what actually counts towards your rank.

a lot of those winds actually are in a row, and I rarely bottom frag. I think it's so hard for me to rank up because I spent 6 months killing all my team mates and receiving consecutive 7 day bans for being kicked/abandoning/team killing etc.. I'm not sure it that has any effect now that I'm not silver on that account (the negative actions may still effect your ranking progression?) but im getting a real rank on a new account so it's all okay.
